Before I tell you about today’s adventure, I must give you the heads up! I’m saving up to go to acting school and so I’ve decided to finally sell a heap of clothes from my wardrobe. I have so far put aside 300 items to sell, fifty of them are already online and a further 50 will be up by today. Heaps of my old favourites are getting put up for adoption, so come and have a browse of over half of my closet!
A few weekends ago my sister Goldfields Girl and I went to Bendigo for the day. The Creator’s Market was on and we wanted to check out Faux Floral Co and Flavour & Heart. Bok Bok B’Gerkwere also there!
When we arrive in Bendigo, all either of us could think about was finding somewhere to pee. After a long drive, this is always top priority and something I find challenging if I’m travelling out of town for auditions. We found a necessity stop pretty quickly and then realized we were starving so I jumped on the Explore Bendigo Instagram to see what was around us for eats.
We liked the look of Boris Murgers so stopped there first for a burger with mac and cheese. We were also excited to discover that they had hot spiced apple cider by Those Girls, so we had a cup of that on the side with our meal. Godlfields Girl tried to cut the burger in half before I could take a picture of it, if you are wondering. Never get in the way of a pregnant woman and her mac and cheese.
Then we went to the Creator’s Market, wandered around, took some blog pics and finished up at Dispensary. Goldfields Girl got her favourite thing, a virgin cocktail, which the bartender made up on the spot and put in a cute glass. I got something with gin. I love Dispensary. If I ever moved to Bendigo it would be my local. I refuse the visit the city without going there.
