Autumn is setting in solidly in town and I’m enjoying bringing out the clothes reserved for cooler weather. This coat is a great example. I’ve owned if for years but I’ve literally worn it twice. It’s a vintage number that I picked up from the Mill Market in Daylesford. It’s incredibly warm so the weather has to be quite cold for me to be able to wear it.
I also like wearing it a lot more now that I have this hair colour. Previously when it was a more Marilyn blonde, it clashed with some many clothes. My natural hair colour goes well with the colour of the coat. I don’t get to wear brown much and autumn is such a nice time to try it out.
The lake is so pretty this time of year. The trees are all changing colour. The weather is mild or slightly cool. The days are short and the light it pretty. Autumn is definitely my favourite season. Around the lake are several old canons. The Council has them set up for people to touch them and for kids to play on them. The oil from people’s skin helps to preserve the canons so they don’t rust.
