When I was a kid I remember a set of overalls I had. It was an overalls dress and I have found a photo to share of me wearing it.
That’s me over on the very left, but I love what my sister is wearing on the right. Look at the beautiful collar and that blue velvet dress!
After having a flahsback about this dress I decided to keep and eye out for any. It was about a week later that this one popped up on ModCloth.
I snapped it up really quickly and it has all the things I usually love in a dress including a peter pan collar. However, styling it was quite a challenge. If I put boots with it, it made it look country. Same with tartan. I love putting neck ties with peter pan collars, but with denim it also looked country. I ended up discovering that tapestry looks quite nice with denim, and it’s something I want to explore more. In this instance I used my tapestry heels and a carpet bag.
This little kitty decided that since it was cold and rainy that she was up for a cuddle, so I hope you enjoy the fifty million photos of me and her. It’s Tegan’s kitty and Tegan was taking the photos.

This is a small but much appreciated support for my passion for dressing up, so if you see a link to Modcloth (or Chicwish) please click through.
