For the past three years, I have organised a Tweed Ride in
Ballarat as part of the Ballarat Heritage Weekend activities. It is an event
that I love, as do my friends and family. This year I organised the event
through Federation University Australia, who already have a supportive cycling
culture within their organisation.
As always, I was worried about what sort of weather we might
get for the day of the ride, but it turned out to a mild autumn day with a lot
of sun, even though very black clouds threatened in the sky all day.
