My strawberry plants have just come out with the first flower of the season.
In honour of this, I decided to make strawberry jam for the first time ever. I didn’t have enough strawberries to make jam from my own plants so I sources some from the local grocer.
I used Nigella’s recipe from her cookbook ‘How to be a Domestic Goddess.’ Mainly because she explained the process well for a beginner like me. The result is delicious!
I tweeted her to thank her for the recipe and she tweeted me back (via DM) with a congratulations for my first ever batch. Hooray! #TeamNigella
