Today is a very exciting day. I should have told you earlier.
I was asked to be compere for a fashion parade of vintage hats which is a fundraiser for the Red Cross. I said yes (of course) and now I’m in my room looking in my wardrobe at my copious amounts of dresses saying ‘What do I wear?’
Over a month ago we traversed the Victorian countryside to find the old church housing the Dorothy Nicol Historic Fashion Collection. I added it to foursquare so you can find it if you’re a foursquare nut like me. Add it to your to do list here.
The collection consists of mainly clothes but there are copious amounts of hats, which will be used in the fashion parade. I went to the venue with the organisers and three of the models so that we could select the hats that would be featured in the parade.
So today at 2pm the event will kick off in Ballarat. It’s $20 per person and if you are interested in attending, tell them you are on Liana’s table.
The full details for the event are:
