While most of the online communities I follow are moving into autumn, those of us in Australia are moving into spring. Moving into any season I can get obsessed with certain items that I want to wear until I’m sick of them. Kind of like replaying a favourite song. There are a few things currently on my mind like a classic 80s ballad: crop tops, scarves, hats.
This means that when I’m looking online at other bloggers, I get excited when I see them styling the things I love. Currently, I’m loving Miss Pandora, who’s current scarf game makes my heart sing. Laura, of Paper Mothball Vintage, everything she does is stunning. Laura of Living in a Shoe, who really makes a scarf ‘pop’. The Hijab Stylist, who is Australian and hilarious and also has a bunch of tutorials. Saufeeya, just love her and her bold colours. Wiwid, and her elegance. And what list of inspiring scarf wearers would be complete without Keiko Lynn.
Because of the length of this scarf, it’s open to being styled in a bunch of really nice ways. The tassels on the corners make it hang really nicely. The moment I tried it on I knew how I wanted to wear it, so I asked a uni friend of mine if I could borrow this skirt which I had seen her wearing at her birthday party. Kayla studied acting for a while, and this skirt was part of their acting uniform. It’s called a rehearsal skirt and it’s used to learn how to walk in a long skirt on stage. Kayla is one of the tiniest people I know, so I was worried it would fit, but it’s got stretchy waist and worked really nicely. Thanks so much Kayla, I hope you like the images.
